What security features do you offer at your storage facility?
Our facility features top-tier security measures, including gated access, over 50 state-of-the-art security cameras, a well-lit environment, and personalized access codes.
What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
To rent a storage unit, you’ll need to provide a valid government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license.
Do I need to sign a long term lease?
You will need to sign a rental agreement at the time of move in. However we have a flexible month-to-month rental agreement, allowing you to easily transfer between climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled units, change unit sizes, and move out according to your schedule.
Can I reserve a storage unit?
To reserve a unit we require a $45.00 deposit which becomes your security deposit when you sign your lease agreement.
What are my payment options?
We offer various payment options for your convenience. You can pay your rent via E-transfers, cash, debit, or cheque. Additionally, we can automatically bill your MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
What size storage unit will I need?

Should I get an indoor or outdoor storage unit?
Here at Total Storage we offer both indoor and outdoor storage units in a variety of sizes. Our hallways and driveways are all well lit and all units are easily accessible.
When can I access my storage unit?
Total Storage offers you access to your storage unit 24 hours a day, 365 a days a year.
What happens if I need more space or a different size unit?
We are happy to help you and understand that your storage needs may change over time. We will present you with the best, most convenient option when finding you more or less space or adding another unit to your existing account.
Do you sell boxes and supplies?
Yes we do! Check out our online shop to find prices and availability for all of your storage and moving needs.
Do you have dollies or moving carts available to use?
We have moving carts and dollies available free of charge for our indoor storage units.
Am I required to provide proof of insurance for my storage unit?
Total Storage Winnipeg proudly offers supplementary insurance. Call us to obtain more details.
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
You are prohibited from storing any items that are explosive, flammable, odorous, hazardous, corrosive or perishable. These items can include but are not limited to: illegal firearms and ammunition, hazardous or toxic chemicals, flammable substances (I.E. kerosene, gasoline, aerosol cans, some paints), and anything that will attract pests(I.E. food).
Should I store my off-season vehicle tires in my storage locker?
Although a storage locker may be an ideal spot to store your off-season vehicle tires, they can take up some very valuable square footage. Tire Chalet is our alternative option to storing your off-season tires in your locker. Our partner Tire Chalet, is a company that will come pick up your off-season tires from your doorsteps and will return them to your door steps with a the ease of a phone call.
