How secure are my belongings?
Our facility features top-tier security measures, including gated access, over 50 state-of-the-art security cameras, a well-lit environment, and personalized access codes.
Is there anything I am not allowed to keep in my unit?
For safety reasons, we cannot accept contraband, hazardous materials, food, flammable or explosive substances, or any living things including plants, animals, or people in your storage unit.
How do I know what size unit I will need?

How long do I have to sign up for?
You can move out anytime. We charge rent month-to-month, meaning that you are not locked into a fixed-term contract. We understand circumstances changes and, we do not have a minimum stay requirement but ask that you provide us with five days’ notice from the date you intend to vacate the unit.
Do you auction units?
Unfortunately, on occasion, we do need to auction a unit. If you are interested in bidding on a unit, please visit Total Storage Auction to check if we have any auctions currently taking place.
How can I protect my stuff in storage?
We recommend boxing and wrapping your belongings to keep them free of debris and protect them from being scuffed or damaged during your move-in. Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes, we have a flexible month-to-month rental agreement, allowing you to easily transfer between climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled units, change unit sizes, and move out according to your schedule.
Are there any other fees other than the monthly rate?
At the time of your move-in, we charge a $5.00 administration fee, as well as a $45.00 security deposit, which you will get your deposit back at the time of move out granted your unit is in good condition.
Do I need a credit card to rent?
No, we do not require a credit card to reserve or for billing purposes during the period of your rental. We do require a $45 reservation fee which will then be your security deposit; however, this can be paid by debit, cheque, cash, or e-transfer.
What are my payment options?
We offer various payment options for your convenience. You can pay your rent via E-transfers, cash, debit, or cheque. Additionally, we can automatically bill your MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
When am I able to access my unit?
You will have access to your unit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at no extra cost.

How far in advance can I reserve a unit?
You can reserve a storage unit up to one month in advance of your move-in date. A $45 security deposit is required to hold the unit. However, if, for any reason, you do not rent the unit, your deposit will be forfeited.
Do you offer reusable totes?
Yes! We offer water-resistant and durable 25-gallon totes for rent. These provide an environmentally friendly way to store or move your belongings, plus the durability and robust nature of polypropylene make these totes an excellent choice as they are so easy to stack! Each tote is thoroughly cleaned after each use to ensure your belongings are kept safe from germs.
